Every parent wants to make sure their child is the happiest, the healthiest, and becomes the most successful person in the whole world. This requires them to go through a process of parenting or upbringing which can be really challenging and requires a lot of patience. There are some standards of parenting that every parent has to go through with their child-like recognizing which cry means what, feeding the baby timely, changing the nappies timely, and, very importantly, getting them vaccinated for all diseases as prescribed, and doing it on time. If you are a parent who doesn’t believe in vaccines and considers them “poison” you might as well not birth a child because you would be jeopardizing their life to the point of no return.
Something similar happened in the story shared by Reddit user u/bookluvr83 whose ex-wife was an anti-vaxxer. Their daughter was born prematurely and her immune system was compromised by birth. After watching her progress well and getting healthy the doctors allowed OP and his ex to get their daughter vaccinated.
The ex played a drama by agreeing at first to do it if she gets to take their daughter to the doctor. She told OP she had gotten their daughter vaccinated but it was a lie because a while later their daughter got sick again due to chicken pox, a disease she had apparently been vaccinated for.

Was this woman out of her mind? We don’t know what happened to the daughter yet, I hope she is not in danger and progresses towards good health. I am going to say it, OP’s ex basically wanted to k*ll their daughter, that’s exactly what she tried to do by not getting her vaccinated. This anti-vax culture is so terrible, man. I feel so infuriated right now. Does this woman have any idea how risky could this be for their daughter? Would she take responsibility if anything goes wrong?
