What’s the best way to end racism?
If we put our minds to it, I’m sure we can come up with a handful of good and effective ways to end it. For now, one way that has proved to be effective in bridging this racial gap is through communication. They don’t say “communication is the key” for no reason. We really don’t know how good of a person someone is until we actually talk to them.
It’s in human nature to be prejudiced about others by the way they appear. Though it’s clearly wrong, not many people recognize this negative behaviour. Eventually, this creates misunderstandings and people end up developing hate for no reason. On the other hand, if we talk more, things clear up and we realise how similar we are.
The following Facebook Thread did exactly that. Black people asked white people hilarious questions and it all resulted in a friendly interaction.
Take a look:
This is how it stared.
That’s an interesting question.
This should honestly be a game show. Imagine how quickly behaviours would change if we all got along better. No more descrimination, fights, or hatred. I mean, life is already short, so why spend the little time we have on earth in trying to win battles that shouldn’t even exist?
P.s White people really don’t use spice.
Oh my god.
See how this brings people closer?
Yes! Who was that?!
It’s interesting how people who aren’t engaging directly in the conversations are showing their support by reacting to the best responses. It makes everything x10 funnier.
I can’t even.
That is so true.
