24 Hilarious Comics That Every Parent Will Relate To

parents-experience-featured

Being part of a family can be quite an overwhelming experience.

And if you happen to have a child, things can get even more chaotic. As we all know, children are like tiny drunk human beings who haven’t yet learned the consequences of their actions. They are fearless and curious, which means that any house with a kid is always a mess. However, despite the challenges, spending time with your child can be incredibly rewarding, especially when they give you that innocent smile after a day of sugar-fueled adventures.

Hi there! My name is Yllya. I am an independent painter and webcomic artist from France, and I am also a mother to a 3-year-old girl. Last year, I started a webcomic on Instagram about my family’s daily life. It all began when we got stuck in the elevator of our building on our way home from daycare. I was nervous because I’m a bit claustrophobic, but my daughter thought it was fun and my husband was his usual self.

When we finally got out, I thought it was a funny story that I could turn into a comic. I posted it on Instagram and people seemed to like it. A few weeks later, I took another photo after talking to my husband about our daughter’s hair, and again, people liked it. So, I continued making webcomics. All of my comics are based on real-life stories with a lot of humour. I believe that families and parents are a great source of inspiration for my work. – Yllya
