Cats can be unpredictable companions.
Anyone who has ever shared their living space with a feline knows this well. One moment they might be craving attention and affection, and the next they’ll have no interest in you whatsoever. Nevertheless, this is part of their charm. They view us as giant, clumsy cats and treat us accordingly. Cats often get a bad reputation for being difficult or aloof, but this is not always the case. Unfortunately, the story I’m about to tell won’t help dispel this stereotype.
Some cats can be brats and enjoy showing their dominance. The cat in this story is called Stan-in-Disguise, and he has earned this name for a good reason. He is friendly to only one person and despises everyone else. While my own cat isn’t aggressive, she’s very selective about who she chooses to be around. I understand that you can’t force a cat to love you. In this particular story, a mother-in-law is trying to win over this cat’s affection, but she’s struggling to do so.

You will soon understand who Gropey is.
This happened quite a while ago.
And this is going to be a long one so strap in.
And I would also recommend getting some popcorn.
Firstly, we get to meet Sid, the main character.
He is everything that a stereotypical cat is.
He only loves one person and despises everyone else.
But the secondary character is Gropey, the mother-in-law.
She was apparently a big fan of animals.
So she thought that she could get Sid to love her.
However, things weren’t going to be as easy as she thought.
After all, Sid is Satan-In-disguise.
But Gropey never gave up.
She kept trying to get Sid to love her.
From bribing to training the cat, she did it all.
None of it worked ofcourse but that didn’t deter her.
She thought she could train him.
But he would just take the bribe and run away or hurt her.
Though I have to give it to her for sticking to it for so long.
I wouldn’t have been able to do this.
But Sid did move away after a while.
He continued to live his life with his beloved owner.
And while he is no longer with us, he will always be in our memories.
It’s not surprising that Sid behaved that way towards Gropey, who didn’t understand the concept of personal space. As I mentioned earlier, cats are very unpredictable when it comes to showing affection. While some cats may respond to bribery, it didn’t work for Sid. Generally, if I encounter an animal that doesn’t want to be around me, I keep my distance to avoid causing any stress. However, Gropey thought she could make Sid like her, despite being warned several times. In the end, all she got was dozens of scratches, so it’s safe to say she got what she deserved.
This is why I love cats.
Every cat is different.
It is definitely a huge ego boost to have a cat like this one.
