Daughter Wants Her Mom To Only Babysit Her Kids Not Her Brother’s Because She’s Living In Her House

OP, 37F, and her husband, both working full-time corporate jobs, have two children. They decided to move in with their mother, who has been living in an in-law suite. OP and her husband help with her bills and she takes care of the kids from 2:30 pm to 6 pm. However, OP’s brother and sister (SIL) believe it is unfair that their mother is the only one caring for their children. SIL recently dropped off her children at the author’s house, causing OP to feel uncomfortable with this arrangement. OP has told SIL that she can’t afford a nanny and that she is choosing to use her mother’s house for childcare when they can’t afford other options. OP has blocked SIL, stating that it’s her job to look after her kids, not hers.
