Redditor Lets Go Of Her Partner’s Large Dog To Avoid Being Injured, Partner Accuses Them Of Harming The Dog

In this scenario, there’s a disagreement between partners regarding the handling of their hyperactive dogs during walks. Despite a previous agreement to avoid calling the dog from a distance due to safety concerns, one partner ignored this agreement, resulting in the dog pulling the other partner over, exacerbating a previous knee injury. Feeling unable to control the situation, the injured partner reluctantly let go of the dog to prevent further injury, leading to tension between them. The partner who called the dog insists the injured partner is at fault for letting go and potentially endangering the dog. In contrast, the injured partner believes the other should have taken responsibility for their actions and offered a simple apology.
