I am sorry boss but if you wanted me to work more than the hours I signed up for, you should’ve made it explicitly clear in my job description…at the time of the interview. You can’t convince me to be kind to work for you. If that results in me being an unfair person, so be it. But I am never going beyond that 5 p.m. mark. Why, you ask? Because I prioritize my happiness and mental health over everything in this world.
