You have to be very careful with what you do especially when you are honored with a senior position at the workplace.
Humiliation is something that always sticks by you. No matter how much good you spread, you will never forget that one event that caused utmost trouble, and embarrassment to you. And this mainly happens to people who are overconfident and think they can pull something bad off without any obstacles. Unfortunately for them, they don’t realize that a major requirement for things to happen smoothly is competency. And these dumb people of unsound minds have none of it. An unqualified manager, no matter how hard he tries to degrade their employees, is basically hitting his own feet with an ax because an incompetent person is like a headless chicken, they make an error somewhere in there that backfires so hard. And the end result, as we talked about, is always humiliation and embarrassment.
Today’s story is about an unqualified and dumb manager whose own foolish act got him in deep trouble. The manager basically thought they could create trouble for an employee but ended up doing something so dumb that the embarrassment made him quit the job.

3. Makes sense, there isn’t much to a site checking. If anything unique happens, OP would mention that. Other than that, it’s just copy-pasting for each site’s report.

4. What does this new manager mean by “unique” entries?

5. This policy is such a time waster. What is he, an English teacher who doesn’t want his students to repeat sentences?

7. Think about filling up those 40 detailed binders with a restriction of not using similar phrases. Yeah, right.

9. Maybe no one bothered reading a 500+ word log.
Via Darigone
10. Looks like OP is going all in until someone finally notices their trickery.

I really do not understand the purpose of a unique log. OP is very correct in terms of the manager having no idea about how parols work. There isn’t much that happens, and when it does it is reported in the log. Ordering security officers to not repeat sentences is him being an English teacher, that too a bad one. This incompetent manager should be reminded that this isi not a course on Synonyms, this is a real workplace.

12. Woah, what? Hence proved, that he really has been crediting OP’s reports for their face value. He hasn’t read a single word inside.

16. There we go, OP decides to come clean. How do you plan on praising him now, manager?
Via Darigone
17. My guy had literally had zero ideas of what was happening. Incompetency levels are off the charts.

18. OP’s confidence boosted everyone else’s confidence too as the manager got slammed by all the other members present.
