Karen Mistakes A Stranger For A Fisher, Says Her Taxes Pay His Salary

Nobody’s salary is paid by taxes.

People love to wield power over others, and they believe that just because they pay taxes, they also pay the salaries of others, particularly government employees. But that is not how it works in practice. At the end of the day, we all pay for each other’s wages because we all pay taxes. Even if we ignore that, it isn’t all that difficult to be a decent human being without making others dislike you. Karens, on the other hand, appear to be very good at making everyone dislike them. Not only that, but it becomes a never-ending cycle because these people teach their children to be exactly like them.

Now, I’m not saying that mistaking someone for an employee is unusual; we’ve all done it once or twice. But what is strange is insisting that they are lying and that you are correct. Karens, on the other hand, enjoy being right. Even when they are proven to be incorrect, they never like to apologise. I don’t believe they have the word “sorry” in their dictionary. But that is precisely why it is always fascinating to see these people being shamed for their actions. I doubt she will learn anything from this experience, but we can all hope.

This is an older story but they wanted to tell the Internet about it now.

They were out fishing and the friend was having a nice time as well.

Things were going well for them until a group of kids started following them.

The parents are nowhere to be seen so they keep an eye on the kids.

As it turns out, the kids want to fish as well but they don’t have a fishing rod with them.

They do come back with their parents quite promptly.

But before anyone can speak, one woman starts laying into them.

The lady is getting angrier by the minute and the kids are lying to her.

That is when it becomes clear that she thinks they are employees.

He makes it quite clear that he doesn’t work there.

And that is when it hits her but she doesn’t apologize at all.

It was a surprising experience but also weirdly hilarious for them.

What I don’t understand is why she didn’t simply apologise. I’m not saying this behaviour would have been appropriate if he had been an employee, but did she have no shame? And, while I dislike blaming children, it is clear that they are picking up entitlement from their parents. Children are far more perceptive than we give them credit for. And if they see people around them getting away with rude behaviour, they will believe they can as well.

I don’t think that it is a normal thing but these people are never going to believe it.

Someone who actually works as a park ranger also chimed in.

It is clear that she thinks she is superior to other people.

This commenter has the right idea.

It’s only fair, right?
