Neighbor Asks Dog Owner To Keep Her Dog On A Leash In Her Garden

Nowadays, it is very common to own a pet dog. Owning a dog brings many joys, but it also entails numerous responsibilities. It’s important to recognize that not everyone shares the same fondness for dogs, and some individuals may even have a fear of them, regardless of their size. Despite our trust in our canine companions, their behaviour can be unpredictable, especially in busy environments or even within the confines of our gardens.

Such an event was recently encountered by Reddit user u/TAALovelyLimo who disagreed with a new neighbor about her dog. The neighbour insisted that Limo, the OP’s older dog, must be leashed while in the garden. Limo, accustomed to his morning routine of lounging in the garden, found himself at odds with the new neighbour’s daily walks. This conflict arose from the neighbour’s extreme fear of dogs, exacerbated when Limo approached her one morning. Concerned about the absence of a fence to prevent Limo from wandering off, the neighbour requested that Limo be kept on a leash while in the garden.

Feeling conflicted about the situation, OP turned to Reddit for input from the online community.
