Redditor Refused To Walk Neighbor’s Dog While They Were In The Emergency Room, Gets Grilled

There are advantages and disadvantages to apartment living. There are no upkeep or grass care concerns, and some offer pretty good amenities like gyms, swimming pools, and more.

On the other hand, noisy neighbors can cause problems, provided that they make a decent amount of noise every day and, ideally, do not continue past respectable hours. Not to mention nosy neighbors who delight in knowing (and disclosing) everything about their neighbors. Additionally, if you’re typically more reserved, sharing space with others, particularly those who are nosy, can make you feel a little anxious. Of course, it’s simple enough to say hello in passing, but being close by doesn’t mean you have to be best friends with your neighbor.

Someone just encountered a particularly embarrassing scenario that left them questioning whether they were right or wrong. In order to acquire a second opinion, they resorted to the well-known Reddit group r/AITA, which bills itself as a place to “finally find out if you were wrong in an argument that’s been nagging you.” Before getting into the argument in which they may have been an a-hole, user Consistent-Staff4349 provided some background information on themselves and their neighbor. OP, who identifies as an introvert, frequently converses with an outgoing neighbor while walking their dogs. Despite the fact that their neighbor is gossiping, they exchanged phone numbers at her urging so she could get in touch if she noticed “something shady” going on outside their apartment building. The OP thought it wasn’t too big of a deal as the neighbors didn’t contact. Scroll down to read the full story.
