Woman Asks If She Is Wrong For Calling Her Parents After Having A Seizure

Parents are supposed to be there for their children.

Most people assume that your family will be there for you when you are in trouble or require assistance. However, this is no longer always the case, and they may not care as much as you would like. Regardless of your age, your parents will always be there for you, listen to you, and try to solve your problems. Although, in many cases, some people simply do not make good parents, and their children suffer as a result.

Don’t get me wrong: I understand that dealing with all the pressure and responsibility can be difficult, especially if your loved one is sick. That doesn’t mean you should give up and be heartless. You might think so, but you haven’t met these parents who became enraged simply because their daughter asked them to drive her home. Why had she asked the question in the first place? She had a seizure and didn’t want to drive herself, so she asked her parents for assistance. I don’t know about you, but most parents would be concerned about their children and not become irritated with them.

It is clear that she has gone through a lot of pain but is dealing with it the best she can.

So when she had a seizure at work, she decided to be safe and called her parents.

Most parents would have been worried but they were instead annoyed by the whole thing.

While she has previously stated that she would have been fine even if she had driven herself home, it is never a bad idea to be safe. Her quick thinking would have been applauded by most parents. So I’m surprised at how these people reacted. I understand that seeing a loved one change and become ill is never a pleasant experience, but she isn’t doing it on purpose. Her parents require a strong dose of reality because they are now acting heartless. So all I can hope is that OP finds better people who care about her. After all, family doesn’t have to be related by blood.

They don’t sound like great parents in my opinion.

Being frustrated is understandable but they aren’t being fair towards their daughter.

They sound pretty selfish to me.

Not only dense but they clearly have no capacity for empathy.
