What Famous Cartoons Look Like in Other Countries

Everyone has an inner child hidden in them, especially the teenagers and adults of today who never miss a chance to reminisce and relive the old cartoon moments with their pals. Even I do that, watching an old episode of the cartoons that bring you back to the exact moment you first watched it, is just beautiful in itself. The best part about this is, these cartoons that share the same stories and quite similar names can be displayed as their own in their countries, showing how everyone in every corner of the world just loves to see it. It is just really nice to see how everyone loves the same thing, everyone can share and discuss the same topic, this not only brings everyone together and gives them another topic to talk about but also give them the moments to enjoy.

However, when we look at these cartoons and see the common differences between them, especially the dresses and the eyes, it shows how different everyone is from each other yet the same stories brought everyone together, this is just one way to unite the different corners of the world and making it one. After looking at this set of pictures, I am not only reminded of my childhood but also the time when I would dress up to become one of the characters and relive the entire story.

I hope it has the same effect on you as well!

Japan’s remake of the story may be a little different from the original Disney showed, but the similarities are still uncanny just like the magic lamp, ring, and carpet!

This story has been dubbed many times and told in its own way as well. In the Russian remake, instead of Belle, the girl who is taken as a prisoner is named Anastasia. However, the story is just the same.

4. We’ve all cried over Cinderella a few times…

Cinderella is one of the most popular stories that have been retold several times, repeatedly. In Russia however, instead of Cinderella, she is named Zolushka, compared to the version Disney made, this story is much closer to reality,

The Chinas remake was inspired by the Miracle Stars gold milk, however, the USA’s version was quite different. They did get back at them by airing an episode named ‘Copy cats’ where they had a face-off with the goats family.

6. The Little Mermaid and her adventures.

Although the Russian Story has a very different ending than the usual one we know, it is still inspired by the mermaid who falls in love with a prince and sacrifices her life at the sea. Both stories show the problems one faces when they are in love.

7. The boy who could not lie!

The wooden who comes to life has a quite similar story, only the difference is of the name, where one is Buratino which translates to the puppet in Italian.

These series were so popular that they got their own Japanese anime, now that is the best transformation we have seen.

Shreks companion who got his own remake is just a win-win for everyone who loved him. The Japanese version of Puss in boots where he was actually called Pero has really been an amazing remake of the original story.

10. Snow White

Instead of the 7 Dwarfs, meeting 7 handsome warriors is something to remember. In the Russian remake, that is how the story is told. However, the apple and the forest are just the same.

11. Winnie the Pooh, the childhood craze!

via The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh / Disney© Vinni Puhk / Soyuzmultfilm

The only difference between these two stories is that the Russian, Vinni Puhk is much more unconventional and free-spirited as opposed to the original one.

This shows how someone would want to be the perfect ‘Cinderella’ or ‘Snow White’ just to resonate with their feelings and bravery. Every story has its own charm and significance, showing it as their own just maximizes the effect it has on its own people because then, they can in depth, relate to the stories. For me, that is just really important and beautiful in itself as it just shows how every story is just as important and can be implied to every normal person watching it.

You can make every adventure of ‘Winnie the Pooh’ your own, fighting like ‘Puss in Boots’ to show how you are just the same just speaks the versatility of these cartoons and the power to reach the people that are watching. Even now, adults and teenagers who grew up watching these shows and movies are always taken back to the exact moment, feeling the same emotions and learning again the difficulties faced at that time and overcoming those to maintain their position is not only inspiring but speaks volumes of how important these cartoons have been.

So, regardless of whichever country you belong to, you did get to experience these wonderful cartoons/animated movies slightly differently. However, let us know which cartoon and movie was your favorite in the comment section below! Also, don’t forget to share this article with your friends and family!
