Guy Misses His Appointment By 5 Minutes, Employs A Genius Idea

It is always difficult to reschedule an appointment.

Anyone who has ever driven an hour to get somewhere only to have their appointment cancelled due to traffic understands the agony. It’s especially aggravating if you need to complete the paperwork by a certain deadline. We’ve all heard that getting your passports or other paperwork completed can be a hassle, but this story takes it to a whole new level. After all, they were technically on time, but their appointment was still cancelled.

They attempted to talk it out with the person in front of them, but it was simply not possible. Now, I never recommend getting angry with the person working the front desk because they are only doing what their bosses tell them to do, but I understand the frustration. This time, however, the poster of this story had a brilliant idea and decided to put it to the test. They would not have done it if they weren’t in a bind, but they didn’t have a choice.

They needed to get some paperwork done before the deadline.

It is clear that they were in a hurry but they still arrived a tiny bit late.

But when they get there, the appointment is cancelled.

They didn’t know what to do and they couldn’t delay it any longer either.

So that is when they had an idea.

All in all, it ended well and they got what they wanted.

I’m surprised this worked at all. It’s clear that the lady at the desk was tired of it all and decided to go along with it, but they weren’t breaking any rules either. She was also not in any way wrong because she was simply following the rules. However, it is always nice to see a resolution occur without anyone becoming irritated and getting into trouble. I’ll have to remember this because I might have to do something similar someday.
