While I am not discussing physics, I am sure we all understand that every action has a reaction, and this is true in real life as well. That means that whatever we do or whatever decision we make in our lives, we must be prepared for the consequences. After all, we’re only human, and we’re bound to make mistakes along the way. What distinguishes a good person from a stagnant one, however, is an individual who accepts responsibility and makes changes for the future. The fact is that there aren’t many people like this left in the world. Most Internet stories depict the worst aspects of humanity, and this one is no exception.

Managers and higher-ups already have a bad reputation, so reading about a manager who tried to blame his employee for his own shortcomings is just the icing on the cake. Normally, he would have gotten away with it as well. However, the poster of this story was not about to let that happen and decided to take action. But I’m getting ahead of myself because we need to understand what the shortcoming was before we can discuss how the manager was put in his place. The manager thought he was above a menial busboy and thus could do anything, but he quickly got a taste of his own medicine.

It all started because of an evening shift.

OP was clearly a hard worker and would help around.

So when the manager asked him to work an evening shift as a dishwasher, he warned them what it could entail.

Not only that but it also meant he had to keep a strict schedule.

When OP showed up, nothing was going alright.

And it was apparently quite a busy day as well.

The manager was also quite stressed out and could not handle it.

OP quickly got to work and ensured there was no work left.

However, he kept waiting and the dishes never came back out.

He had to leave in a few minutes and thus did not have time to wash the dishes.

The manager wanted him to work late but that wasn’t going to happen so he walked out.

When OP came back the next day, he realized how chaotic everything had been.

But he explained everything very clearly.

This caused the general manager to question the guy.

The back of the house manager was just getting into more trouble by the minute.

This caused a lot of rule changes as well.

Since it meant that the Banquet crew actually had to do their job now.

I am well aware that some people are shy and dislike confrontation, so they prefer to remain silent. Who, on the other hand, will sit there and be chastised for something they did not do? Even the most introverted person would probably say something about the problems caused by the manager. Just because someone is ‘lower’ on the job totem pole does not automatically make them a lesser human being. I believe that higher-ups can become enamoured with power and regard every other employee as inferior to them. Things like this should not happen in this day and age, but they are sadly becoming even more common.

Can one person even do it alone?
