Guy Switches His Airplane Seat With A Mother And Her Crying Child To Teach His Wife A Lesson

It is not easy to care for children.

Even if you adore children, there will be times when they will grate on your nerves. And I’m not saying it’s a bad thing. After all, everyone gets irritated, and having to deal with crying children when you just want to relax is not a pleasant experience. As someone who has been stuck in buses or trains for hours along with a child who would not stop crying, I can tell you that it can make anyone irritable. And, while I recognized that it wasn’t the parent’s fault and that they were doing their best, the annoyance lingered.

When his guy’s wife was feeling this way, he wasn’t a fan. He apparently thought she was being insensitive to the plight of those parents and that she needed to learn her lesson. And he decided to teach that lesson by swapping seats with the woman with the crying baby. His seat, as you might expect, was right next to his wife’s, which was now occupied by a woman and a crying baby. You can imagine how upset his wife was about this new development and how she blamed him.

OP and his wife were coming back from a vacation and their seats were quite close to a crying baby.

His wife apparently was quite annoyed with the baby and kept complaining.

So he decided to talk to the couple and ended up switching sweats with the lady.

He didn’t think it was such a big deal as most people have noise-cancelling headphones these days.

However, his wife doesn’t see it that way and has been angry with him ever since.

He explained why he thought he may be the one in the wrong.

What is she supposed to take away from this? Not to tell him the next time something bothers her? Is she supposed to learn not to become irritated in any way when confronted with a difficult situation? He was clearly acting childishly because he didn’t want her bothering him. I can’t imagine how this could have worked out. Did he expect her to walk off the plane and thank him for opening her eyes?

However, a lot of people didn’t believe his story at all.

They think that he just made it all up.

To be fair, it does seem a bit far-fetched.

But people who did believe him weren’t on his side.

The whole thing just seems childish.

It is clear that he wanted to get away from his wife’s complaining.

There was no lesson to learn in this situation.

She is just not going to trust him with her problems from now on.

And it wasn’t as if he switched seats with the mother out of the kindness of his heart.

While this seems fake, I do think Airlines do allow it.

It was a very petty thing to do.

To be fair, anyone can get irritated by a child crying.

He isn’t going to have another trip in the future.
