Meet Lia, who is 27 years old and is known as @liainlouisiana on TikTok, she shared a video of herself in which she was eating a Chick-fil-A in front of a screenshot of a chat with the bride. The TikToker showed abusive texts she received from the bride who invited her to be a bridesmaid but wanted to control everything, from the shoes Lia will wear to her size, in a series of videos. Nobody likes to be controlled totally and it’s quite absurd. Let’s see what really happened. Lia was forced to go on a diet and was even demoted from maid of honor since she was obese. Then the tension began to rise, with each video Lia released on her channel demonstrating the madness she’d been going through until the wedding drama reached a boiling point.

Bridezillas aren’t a new phenomenon. Indeed, we all may have heard crazy marriage stories that can relate to this but she just took it to another level by fat-shaming her.
Rhiann Janak Gouabeche, CEO of Lucy Till French Wedding Planners, previously told us that “a bridezilla is someone who loses her cool when it comes to wedding planning, generally snapping at friends, family, and suppliers while these individuals are only trying to help.” A bridezilla, on the other hand, should not be mistaken for a demanding bride because “it’s a very important day, and it’s quite normal to have special and vital desires.”
“A bridezilla, on the other hand, is a DIFFICULT bride because of the way she expresses her wishes and treats individuals participating in the wedding arrangements with animosity, belittlement, or lack of respect,” Rhiann stated.

People often make the wedding a very big deal although it should be simple because you cannot ever make everybody happy. You just cannot and what she did to Lia was unjustified because no sensible person would demote a maid of honor to a bridesmaid just because she won’t go on a diet. People have made beauty standards so strange and complicated that they think only the slim and the fit would be appreciated and what about plus-size men and women? Sadly almost all the people of the world who are black or obese have to face things like this and we really need to do something about it.
