Children are a joy to behold.
At least in terms of their parents. However, not everyone loves children as much as their parents do. I’m not saying that having children at an event automatically means chaos, but the bride and groom have the authority to make their wedding child-free. After all, it is their special day, not the day of everyone else. I understand that parents may feel betrayed by this change in the rules, but they must respect the person whose wedding they have been invited to. And just because you have a rainbow baby does not mean that the rules do not apply to him or her. A ‘miracle’ baby may be special to you for obvious reasons, but to everyone else, they are just another child.
And if someone has decided that there will be no children at an event, breaking the rule to allow one special child to attend will make other guests feel cheated. However, that is precisely what is happening in this story. The bride and groom decided not to have children at their wedding, but the groom’s brother will not accept no for an answer and insists that the rainbow baby is special and that rules do not apply to them. They were told no over and over, but they just wouldn’t give up. So the groom came up with the brilliant idea of using flashcards. I mean, it sounds both disrespectful and amusing, so I’m not sure where I stand on this method.

They don’t hate children but they don’t want any in their wedding which is understandable.
But his brother desperately wants to bring his kid to the wedding.
The brother even went as far as to lord their relationship over his head over this matter.
After being tired of saying no, the groom devised a plan to use flashcards.
As you can expect, this did not go well and they were quite pissed off.
The groom has also come out and said that he might have been wrong when it comes to the method.
But the people in the comments couldn’t get enough of this whole fiasco.
To be fair, it does sound quite hilarious.
I would definitely want to see this, I only wish he made a video.
However, I also understand why the brother feels disrespected.
This comment sums up everything pretty perfectly.
The kid might be special to their parents but not to everyone else.
I am not sure if they will even go to the wedding after this.
They probably will and there is nothing that can stop that.
The family should have understood where the groom was coming from.
