What makes someone a Karen?

That is the question that has taken up residence in my mind. I know I shouldn’t care, but after reading so many stories about Karens, I’ve concluded that it’s not the gender, nor is it the infamous haircut. Karens are typically middle-aged people who believe they own everything and are entitled to respect even when they do not treat others as they would like to be treated. Karens are a type of personality that everyone despises. Who hasn’t had to deal with someone like that? And most of the time, you have no idea what is going on or why they are yelling at you in the first place.

I believe they enjoy playing the victim and want everyone to see them as a unique snowflake or something similar. So it’s no surprise that a woman turned to Reddit for assistance after encountering an especially rude Karen. She just wanted to go on her morning runs, but Karen kept waiting for her and giving her the side-eye for whatever reason. So they had a big blowout, and Karen was not going down without a fight. That is why I can understand why this woman ended up asking for advice on Reddit. In these situations, having a stranger’s perspective on things can help you ensure that you’re not doing anything wrong.

This woman was only minding her own business while going on morning walks.

There was an unsaid rule about using sidewalks that everyone followed.

However, this Karen always acted as if she couldn’t be bothered to move and everyone else had to part for her.

But things started to change when the poster of this story started running.

Not only that but it was also clear that eh Karen was looking for a fight with someone.

So they got into an argument and it was not pretty.

Since then, she has tried to change her schedule so she doesn’t see the Karen again.

But she hasn’t been lucky and keeps running into this entitled woman.

People in the comments were generally on her side and urged her to be bold.

Others told her to file a report just so that she would have proof.

But that wasn’t possible as she had tried that before.

This person has a good idea and one I would also recommend.

The Karen seems to be quite manipulative.

Blasting her on social media would only make this worse in my mind.

She needs to back off and stop paying so much attention to other people.
