OP is tired of always staying at home and taking care of the kids, so she wanted to go to the wedding this time.
According to OP, her husband is a great father but is absolutely against babysitting due to an accident years ago.
OP is a stay-at-home mother, and she doesn’t get to go out much due to not every place being safe for kids.
So when they received a wedding invitation from her brother, she was excited to go as this was a child-free wedding.
When OP mentioned getting a babysitter, he was 100% against it and told her to just stay home while he went to the wedding.
