2. It is a big family of 9.
You see, where the number of family members exceeds 4, there is bound to be drama involved…that too on a regular basis.
3. Jeff’s kids are spoiled and he has been finding it really hard to make ends meet ever since his divorce. OP’s mom has been helping and supporting her boyfriend with an open heart.
4. Out of all the spoiled kids, Jessica is the worst as she does not do anything; not work or house chores.
Jessica is a lazy a$$, to be precise.
5. She also gets into arguments with OP’s mother regarding cleanup. Mom simply tells Jeff about the situation and he handles it himself.
6. At the time of posting OP shared the family was on vacation where it was very important to follow the strict itinerary to execute the whole plan successfully.
This is very true. Sometimes to do everything you have planned out requires you to be on the run, one thing after the other. It sounds hectic but trust me, you don’t regret not doing it all afterward.
7. The plan was to leave at 8:30 but Jessica wasn’t even up let alone dressed up and the time was 9:30.
8. OP’s mom kept telling Jessica to get ready but she never listened. She just kept playing on her phone.
9. The family kept giving grace hours to Jessica. It was 10 a.m. when she got into the shower.
10. It was then decided to give Jessica her final 10 minutes, after which the family unplugged her Wi-Fi and left, leaving her behind at the AirBnB.
11. OP left bad for what they all did and asked the internet if she was an AH for leaving her stepsister behind at the AirBnB while they all went out to enjoy!
It seems like this was not the first time something like this happened. You can judge by the tone of the story that Jeff doesn’t like these habits of Jessica either, which is why she removed her from the family plan in the first place. She needs to be taught a solid lesson in order for her to become a responsible woman, she is twenty. Perhaps this was exactly the dose she needed.
And no, OP in no way or form is an AH here because the decision was supported at a higher level. Jeff was the driver and he chose to put the gas down and leave. So OP is in the clear.

OP soon shared an update letting the internet know Jessica did not learn anything.
12. Unfortunately, Jessica did not learn her lesson as she remained up till 2 a.m. when it was decided everyone would leave at 7:30 the next morning.
13. When OP’s mom saw Jessica up, she told her to sleep and the two erupted into an argument.
14. And the same thing happened. Jeff’s kids once again did not show any care for time and happily took their time to get ready, especially Jessica.
15. While everyone was getting in the car Jessica ran out to ask if she could go as well. An angry Jeff responded with a blunt “No”.
16. After a 20-minute long fit, Jessica finally went inside.
17. Eventually, the family decided to let Jessica in with a positive hope that things would change for the better.
18. Yet another drama took place as they stopped at a restaurant to get pizza. Jessica, in her 20s, did nothing so she had no money to buy herself food and no one gave her anything either.
19. The family finally reached their destination, had a lot of fun, or at least some of them did and returned safely back to their AirBnB. One thing is for sure, Jeff’s kids would never be allowed on a vacation like this again.
