It doesn’t take long for two stranger dogs, a male, and a female, to play with all their might and energy to suddenly consume all that energy to have s*xual intercourse. I don’t know why but it often happens very suddenly and quickly. The female ends up getting pregnant leaving the raising of her soon-to-be-born puppies at the hands of her owner. The male? He goes back to living his life.
Something similar happened in the story shared by Reddit user u/juhjbft. He shared that his neighbor’s female dog got pregnant and she claimed it was his dog who did it. OP sort of believed her claim because her dog would often come into his yard to play with his dog. And as I said, it doesn’t take long for the transition to take place.
The neighbor was really angry about this and demanded something that at least I have never heard of. She wanted OP to pay dog child support for the puppies her dog will give birth to…to raise them. OP refused and got threatened to be sued if he didn’t pay it.
OP took the matter to the infamous subreddit “Am I The A$$hole?” to know if not paying the dog child support makes him a terrible person or not.

1. Dog’s child support? Never heard of that concept. Today we will learn something new.
2. OP’s neighbor’s dog recently got pregnant and he believes his dog may have done it, as per her claim, because her dog often comes in his yard.
3. The neighbor does not like the fact that her dog got pregnant with OP’s dog and demanded he pays child support for the pups that will get born.
4. OP openly laughed at her demand and refused to pay any dog child support.

Dog child support…I have never heard of that term, ever. I would be really surprised if such a thing existed. Also, I don’t think OP would be in any trouble as far as the legal angle is confirmed because there is no proof of his dog impregnating hers…unless she gets a DNA test done. She doesn’t have the money to raise the puppies her dog is going to birth, I am sure she won’t get into the hassle of getting an expensive DNA test done just to prove a guy’s dog impregnated her’s. OP is NTA and is in the clear!
