Coworker Shatters Fish Tank, Doesn’t Think They Have To Pay For It

This gem of coworker ruined fish tank and then had the gall to claim that it wasn’t their fault—poor fish.
This tale was uploaded to r/AmITheAsshole by Reddit member u/Judith mayo, who received classic internet pile-on from others, who pointed out that this person walked into another person’s office when they weren’t permitted to, ruined something expensive, and then refused to pay to mend the mess they made. What a rare instance of peer pressure. Worst of all, their coworker didn’t give the user permission to in their workplace I mean what were they doing there anyway?
Check out the following edit to the post u/judith mayo said they were wrong and stated that they made the initial post before fully understanding the circumstances. It’s encouraging to see people taking charge, even if they need a little prodding to get there. Here’s another example of perplexing behavior the roommate who stole food, developed an allergic reaction, then demanded payment for their EpiPen.

In the first place, OP should not have gone into her office without her permission. Now comes the second point, I mean who the heck put his or her full body weight on an aquarium? It’s totally dumb of OP to not admit his fault and refuse to pay her. Now it’s up to you guys to let us know whether the OP is an A-hole or not.
