Photo editing has reached new heights.
When we think of photo editing, we imagine taking a photograph and then making it ‘better’ by adjusting the saturation, contrast, or brightness. That covers the fundamentals of photo editing. Or what they used to be, because nowadays when you think of Photoshop, the first thing that comes to mind is tiny waists that couldn’t realistically fit human ribs or wavy doors. I’m not going to get into a debate about how editing your body perpetuates the cycle of people looking at that edited picture and hating their own bodies, because who doesn’t already know this? And while it is simple to say, it is much more difficult to stop doing it.
After all, if everyone else is doing it and you post something totally natural, you will feel insecure. We have such unrealistic ideas of beauty that none of the people we idealise actually look like they do in photographs either. We are truly chasing computer-generated faces these days, and many people are unaware of it. However, this does not imply that everyone has suddenly become a Photoshop pro. For example, the people listed below should probably watch a tutorial or two before beginning to edit their own images. But I’m glad they didn’t, because now we can laugh at these pictures together, and isn’t that just lovely?

#4 It is a beautiful picture and the original poster could have been truthful about the editing.
Just because it is edited doesn’t make it any less beautiful or creative.

#7 This would have worked better if he smoothed out those abs and added a few muscles everywhere else as well.
#8 Even the kitchen walls are impressed by the gains.
#9 This is obviously his car.
#10 My only question is why do this? Did he want to look tough?
#11 I see these are the new wavy railings that everyone is on about.
#12 Wood warping is a real thing that happens when it touches butts.
#13 I guess she really doesn’t like her feet.
Personally, I have nothing against image editing. After all, I change the colours or make the image more vibrant all the time. I’ve even gone into the replacement tool to get rid of that pimple that appeared the day I was supposed to go out. I’m sure a lot of people are guilty of a little skin smoothing and such.
We don’t always realise we’re doing it because many social media apps have automatic smoothing that we can’t turn off, so we just get used to seeing ourselves that way. However, it is critical to understand that drastic changes or completely changing your face and body will only harm you in the long run.
#14 I am sure she is gorgeous so why make her waist even tinier?
#15 This has to be a joke, right? I hope for the sake of humanity.
#16 His junk makes even the light bend.
#17 When you do your best with budget constraints.

#22 From the looks of it, he didn’t photoshop the muscles so why would he do that to the rest of his body?
#23 My wish is for that door to get better soon.
#24 I am speechless.
#25 All three of them wanted to be in on it.
