You will always have to look after your own mess. No one is going to volunteer to clean up after you. If you assault someone, you better bet yourself you are going to serve jail time.
This fully applied to the entitled woman in today’s story shared by Reddit user u/krool1969. Many many years ago OP had broken his shoulder and never got it properly treated and fixed because of how expensive it was to get it done. About a decade later while he was shopping, a woman approached him and asked for help. He ignored her and turned away. This angered the woman, who had mistaken OP for a worker at the place, as she pulled him back hard from that weak shoulder he had injured 10 years ago.
This resulted in his arm dislocating and the ligaments ripping apart. As a reaction, OP punched the woman right in her face. The security footage was reviewed and the entitled woman was jailed for 5 years for injuring OP so badly.

3. Everything was going great, a decade had passed but then she arrived in OP’s life…an entitled woman.
4. She asked OP for help, mistaking him for an employee, and he told her to mind her own business.
5. And that is when it happened. As OP turned around to continue with his shopping, the woman pulled him strongly on his weak shoulder and that ripped his arm dislocating his shoulder and the ligaments ripping apart.

7. …involuntary reaction resulted in him punching that woman hard in her face. A devastating smack that broke her teeth, her nose, and OP’s own two fingers.
8. Everything was recorded on security cameras. The woman ended up in jail for 5 years for doing what she did.
The consequence of a bad action is all this was. She assumed OP was a worker and felt it was okay to get physical. Entitlement can be harsh on you at times too, and that’s what happened with the woman as she got jailed for assaulting OP.
However, I do have another take on this whole situation. I personally think the 5-year imprisonment is way too much of a punishment for what happened. The woman didn’t know about OP’s shoulder situation. She pulled it only to grab him towards her, to seek his attention so she could start bashing him verbally for not helping her. She didn’t know a little pull would literally rip his shoulder tissues apart. In no way I am saying being physical is okay, it is not and I highly discourage it. But, perhaps if she knew that shoulder was already damaged, maybe she wouldn’t have pulled on it? I don’t know…it’s just a thought that came up.
The woman being punished is correct…but the severity of the punishment is debatable.

9. The woman’s husband ended up leaving her and OP got a good sum from her money which he used to get his shoulder fixed.
