Reddit user OneAngryPanda left work early to stop at a store to grab some drinks to relax his exhausted self. While he was shopping, he helped a couple locate a drink they were unable to find. This made a Karen, also shopping at the store, assume that OP works at the store. She approached OP and asked about a drink and he pointed her in the direction of the aisle where it might be. She then insisted OP take her to the aisle. That’s where things got messy. OP told Karen he didn’t work at the store and wouldn’t take her orders. She proceeded to get physical and grabbed him by his shirt’s collar to get his attention after he had turned around.
OP’s response was something unique. He raised his voice to the loudest he could and roared at Karen to get her hands off him.
That was all he had to do to burst her big bubble of entitlement and shut her down.

Via u/Edgelord_Soup
4. It seems like OP was in the mood to drink.

5. OP had finished work early and was exhausted so he decided to grab some drinks on his way home.
Via u/Edgelord_Soup
6. OP was in a casual outfit as he entered the store.
Via u/Edgelord_Soup
7. However, the issue was that it looked very similar to the uniform of the workers there…so there were chances he may get stopped by people.

8. While OP was about to grab his be*r, he overheard a couple talking.
Via u/Edgelord_Soup
9. They wanted a drink but were searching in the wrong aisle.
Via u/Edgelord_Soup
10. OP decided to help and informed them where the drink they were looking for is located. They thanked him, the three of them had a little chat about drinks, and OP resumed his shopping.

11. Karen has arrived at the scene, ladies and gentlemen.

12. Karen asked OP if he knew where a specific drink she wanted was.
Via u/Edgelord_Soup
13. Because he hadn’t heard about that drink before, he enquired a bit more so he could help her.
Via u/Edgelord_Soup
14. She didn’t have complete information about the drink…
Via u/Edgelord_Soup
15. So he guided her to whi*key aisle explaining which drinks are placed where. He did his best to help.
Via u/Edgelord_Soup
16. But that was not it…Karen wanted OP to take her to that aisle.
Via u/Edgelord_Soup

Via u/Edgelord_Soup
18. OP chose to ignore Karen so to grab his attention again she literally dug her nails into his shoulder to grab him by his collar.
I think that was a mistake.

Via u/Edgelord_Soup
21. Karen triggered OP to the point he was ready to bite her fingers off.
Via u/Edgelord_Soup
22. But he chose to use another tool to bury Karen’s ego back where it came from; his voice.
Via u/Edgelord_Soup
23. OP literally roared louder than the loudest lion telling Karen to get her hands off of him.
I hope old people at the store didn’t get heart attacks from the loudness of his voice.
Via u/Edgelord_Soup
24. OP then grabbed Karen and shoved her back with force.
Via u/Edgelord_Soup
This is beautiful. My god, for some reason when I read the part where OP roared at Karen, I actually read it out loud and could hear his screams in my ears for some reason. Imagine how loud OP’s voice would have actually made the whole store go quiet.
This was a nice unique way to deal with a Karen. No physical contact, just the use of a tool we all possess; voice. I am sure if the cops get cold, OP would be fearless because he did not do anything wrong. At least not so far. But we are not done with the story said so nothing can be said.
Let’s see what happened next. Scroll down below to continue reading!

42. OP parted ways with that store. He did make visits after a few months but no one created any fuss, they probably forgot.
