Mom Wants Son To Help Her Around The House And Take The Dog Out, 25-Year-Old Son Refuses

When teenagers become adults, they should step up and start behaving like responsible adults.

Not everyone accepts the fact that they have grown up and should start taking responsibilities. No one likes responsibilities but it is a mature move to take the responsibilities and not be a burden on others. A 25-year-adult shared on Reddit that his mom wanted a dog but he told her that he does not want a dog and that he would not be taking care of the dog. He would not be taking him/her out for a walk. But his mom adopted a puppy anyway.

His mom works two jobs and is not at home most of the time. OP works a part-time job and comes home after 4 hours. Whenever the dog used to see OP coming home, she would want OP to take her out so OP started using the back door to avoid the puppy. The dog is a puppy and has to pee every 5 hours. OP told his mom that he already told her he wouldn’t be helping her with the puppy. OP mom thinks that he is an AH for not helping her around the house and not taking the dog out. OP is living rent-free at his mom’s house. He is 25-year-old but behaving like a child. He should grow up and start paying the rent and help his mom around the house.
