1. I think OP really did take it up with her dad. Let’s jump into this beautiful saga of malicious compliance.
2. OP’s uncle was loved by everyone in the organization he worked because he cared for all those working below him.
3. He chatted with everyone, considered what they would have to say, and trusted them to make them all feel at home.
4. However, when a new woman got hired and placed a few ranks above OP’s uncle, things started to change.
5. Mi-jin had a good experience on her back so OP’s uncle didn’t have much of a problem with her until she dropped a new policy which confused everyone.
6. She didn’t like office workers sharing a space with the janitorial stage in the office’s cafeteria so she banned the lunch break for all the janitors in the company.
7. She made OP’s uncle reveal this new policy to everyone at the office who didn’t agree and contested it. Back and forth argument finally revealed to him who Mi-jin was.
8. Mi-jin revealed she was the daughter of the Company’s CEO. She also told OP’s uncle if he didn’t like her policies, he could happily take up the matter with her father, someone whose business she will soon take over by becoming the CEO herself.
9. OP’s uncle decided to maliciously comply with the words of Mi-jin to ensure her downfall.
10. Upon knowing about the new policy as revealed by OP’s uncle, the janitorial staff went on a strike for the next few days which did release some frustration in their hearts.
11. And the CEO finally got involved along with the Department of Labor. The janitorial staff was promised better treatment and better pay.

She is going down. The CEO is here and so is the Department of Labor. Nepotism got the better of Mi-jin and this is now the deciding point. Either the CEO will let her live by free will because as Mi-jin said he is her father, or he will do the right thing and either demote her or fire her entirely. Big empires topple because of such children. I am sure the CEO knows this and will do the right thing.

12. When the CEO asked who had instated this terrible policy, OP’s uncle made his final move by telling him all about Mi-jin’s doings.
13. The CEO got really angry and decided to demote his daughter from her current position.
14. She was moved to the trainee position of the janitorial team. Mi-jin quit within a week.
