Many people struggle with infertility.
I understand that society associates fertility with human worth, but that is not the case. While I understand that having children is important for many people, seeking help should not be stigmatised for either men or women. And if your partner criticises you because you can’t get pregnant easily, the issue isn’t with you, but with your partner. After all, it’s not something that people can influence. And there are many other options for having children besides giving birth to them.
As a result, I understand the excitement surrounding pregnancy announcements. This is especially true for people who have had difficulty conceiving and simply want to enjoy the moment when it finally happens. That is also what was supposed to happen in this scenario. But everything went wrong when the truth was revealed. The woman had actually taken an ovulation test rather than a pregnancy test, but she was unaware of it. This may be embarrassing, but it should not be a major issue. However, a tantrum broke out, and the entire gathering was ruined.

Even from the title, you can tell that something isn’t right.
They were supposed to have a nice gathering and some new people were invited as well.
Things were going well and Sasha even made a pregnancy announcement that had everyone screaming for joy.
It was weird that she took a test at someone else’s house but OP let that go.
That is when the truth finally came out.
Not only had she been snooping but she had also taken an ovulation test.
This caused a big ruckus with Doug throwing a tantrum.
While some people were on her side, others insisted that she did it the wrong way.
However, she didn’t really have the time to think about it.
But the story doesn’t end there as we get a little more background information on their relationship.
We get to understand that the relationship between Doug and Sasha isn’t very healthy.
Sasha had also sought out help from a doctor.
It wasn’t her plan to use a test right there and then.
Their relationship also seems to be on the rocks.
Sasha is also apparently badmouthing OP.
However, the friends are back in support.
But thankfully things have finally settled down.
All I can conclude from this exchange is that she needs to end her relationship. Because it does not appear to be a healthy partnership. After all, no one should feel obligated to have children simply to ‘tie down’ their partner. And, from the looks of it, the guy may have a health problem that he is unwilling to admit or seek help for. I hope everything works out for the woman and that she is able to leave this toxic relationship.
