A nanny’s job is quite hard.
I know that many teenagers tend to go for a babysitting job for their first time and this makes people think that it is easy. But in reality, it is quite harder than people would expect and they never get paid enough for the work they do. So it becomes especially bad when the people put even more work on the nanny and act like they are also a maid. I am not saying giving extra work to a nanny is considered bad but you have to pay them extra and talk to them about it beforehand.
But that is exactly what this guy did and his wife wasn’t happy about it when she found out. You see, the nanny was acting a bit weird and the woman knew something was up as soon as the nanny texted her asking for a meeting. Apparently, the husband had asked her to do extra work previously and she wasn’t comfortable working for them anymore. Things seemed to be going great at first.
However, things started to change.
And soon enough a problem seemed to arise.
It was clear that her husband didn’t respect the nanny.
She was kind enough to apologize to the nanny though.
But things didn’t end there as she received a text.
She also mentions all the things she was contracted to do.
But it seems like she had been doing more.
The husband had asked her to come in early many times.
The nanny had talked to him several times but nothing had changed.
The husband also admitted that he had actually done that stuff.
But he felt like that is what she was paid for.
But she is afraid that the nanny might quit now.
And they have a good relationship.

However, before she could talk to the nanny, she called her.
It seems like the nanny really didn’t want to work there anymore.
After she read the comments, she spoke with the nanny.
And asked her to lay everything bare.
It seems like the nanny did indeed quit and that is where the story ends.
I do feel like there is more to the story than it seems. I wouldn’t say that the nanny was overreacting. After the updates, it seems like the husband was asking her to do a lot more than what she was paid to do. And taking care of twins is not as easy as it seems so I can understand where she is coming from. I can only hope that she finds a better job and that this family also finds a good nanny. Although, that can’t happen until the husband learns to respect the job.
