Black and white pictures are much scarier.
It might be because you can’t see color which makes things terrifying and not uplifting or, it might be because of what people in the old days went through. After all, the camera wasn’t that advanced and, they couldn’t take as many pictures as they wanted as it was quite expensive in that day and age. However, we can’t argue that these pictures aren’t spooky.
Even if they are trying to be spooky on Halloween, there is just something unnerving about most of these pictures. And you will be able to see that for yourself by scrolling below. Although, a fair warning beforehand as some of these may be disturbing for those weak at heart. Even if we can learn a lot about our history through these pictures. These don’t hold any deeper meaning and, there are no ghosts so you don’t have to worry about that.

Most of these pictures don’t have any hidden meaning behind them. The reason they look so sinister is probably because of the time difference and the quality of the camera. People had a different sense of fashion back then which looks pretty weird nowadays. And men had beards that would make anyone look terrifying now a day. They also couldn’t smile in pictures because they could only take one and they didn’t want it to turn out bad.
These are just some of the reasons behind these pictures.
