20 Hilariously Embarrassing Examples Of Why Letter-Spacing Is Important

I am dying of second-hand embarrassment.

Do you ever look at a logo or a line and have to double-check it to make sure you are reading it right or if it is just your dirty mind? Yeah? Well, that tends to happen a lot. Especially to people with bad handwriting, trying to make out what they have written can be difficult but sometimes the words appear to look like something they are not. This is where dirty-minded people take up the opportunity and turn it into humour. It isn’t just manual handwriting though. Any great designer would put a lot of effort into kerning. Kerning is defined as the spacing between letters or characters. This is to make sure the text is clear and readable, and can not be manipulated as something else. So it has a lot of importance when it comes to graphic designing and a lot of other things. It is not just a piece of cake. Believe it or not, even minor details like kerning matter a lot when it comes to presentation. So we can say not everyone can be a great graphic designer without focusing on these little details.
