TikToker Samantha Marie, who goes by the handle @sdenoyer, shared her “stood up” experience with fellow user @ @ayeevuh._ who shared a video of herself eating alone. “lol date went to the bathroom and never returned,” says a text overlay. Samantha responded with a video of her own. She’s in bed, looking through her camera lens when she notices an empty space next to her.

Some people told the woman in the comment thread that spending their own money to go on a date in another city is never a good idea. Some speculated that the man was probably double-dipping and was probably with his wife or significant other, which explains why he wasn’t responding.
