These Workers Pretend To Get Fired To Teach Short-Tempered Customers A Lesson

Reddit user u/throwRA-fhfsveyary does not like terrible customers. She works in a coffee shop and you know how it is in the services businesses. Customer service employees get slammed on a daily basis for the tiniest of things. Why isn’t there enough salt in my coffee? Why weren’t the beans roasted the way I like them? So on and so forth. It is horrible and you have to commend employees in this industry for their patience.

OP found a unique way to deal with such customers. She along with her friends working at the same coffee shop decided if a bad customer showed up and started complaining, one of them would act as the owner and fire the worker on the spot who the bad customer is being rude with. The strategy worked perfectly as the complaining customers would suddenly backtrack from their complaints and leave.

I absolutely love this. A very unique strategy to deal with terrible customers. Bad customers need to be told they are bad and this is kind of a cool way to do so. However, I would like to point one thing out. This can also go extremely terribly for OP and her friends. What if a bad customer who they had played this trick on returned and saw OP and her friends still working at the coffee shop? They may report the situation to the owner and the owner may then find out what the kids had been doing. After all, this is not an ethical practice. There is no professionalism in this joke. The owner may end up actually firing OP and her friends. Things would then turn upside down for them. So, the kids have to be careful with this.
