Girlfriend Confesses To Boyfriend Her Roommate Convinced Her To Go On A Pity First Date With Him

Two humans entering into a relationship is something very serious. The two people are basically committing their lives to each other and now have to do everything together, their lives blend together. So it has to be made sure when people get into relationships, the basis of those relationships should be pure. They should be built on honesty and no truth should be hidden from each other.

Reddit user u/toohottooheavy had a massive crush on his girlfriend since their school days. He just never had the confidence to ask her out. One time while OP was at a friend’s birthday, he also saw her there. That was when he got pushed by their mutual friends to finally ask her out and she agreed. The two eventually got into a relationship and things only progressed upwards and for the better.

However, while having a nice dinner with the girlfriend’s best friend and her husband, the best friend broke the news that OP’s girlfriend was never interested in dating him and that it was she who convinced the girlfriend to go on a pity date with him.

The news sent OP into a bit of a dilemma because he had thought the decision about dating was entirely made by his girlfriend.
