It is always a cute experience when someone you know and love becomes a parent. They begin an entirely new chapter in life, something completely different, unique, and extremely challenging. But the good thing is that the loved ones keep trying to make sure that the mother’s stress levels remain at their minimum and the toughness of parenting sort of eases out. When the baby gets born it is all about the gifts and the kisses for the baby, and the mother often gets ignored in the process. In today’s story, a friend made sure this won’t happen and especially got gifts for her instead of her baby for her baby shower.
This Redditor shared her friend had already told her not to get anything for her baby because she had already stocked up a lot of baby products in advance. So OP decided to get presents for her. When OP told her mother what she was getting for her friend, she first didn’t like the fact that OP wasn’t getting anything for the baby and was buying gifts for the mother. Second, she called the gifts stup*id all together.

OP, you are actually so thoughtful. It is nice to see that she didn’t go for not gifting anyone anything at all but actually getting something for her friend. And the fact that she is also getting the coat for her friend that she always wanted but couldn’t get because it was expensive. I am sure OP’s gifts will be appreciated the most because everyone will be bringing gifts for the baby at the event but OP would be showing direct appreciation to her friend.
