Teenage Daughter Snuck Out Of House To Attend A College Party But Ended Up Calling Her Mom To Pick Her Up

Teenage is not an easy face for any kid in this world regardless of their demographics, economic status, or any other factor. This is the phase when your hormonal shift sort of makes you hate everything you loved but doesn’t really tell you what interests of yours will become your next passion. So the complexities keep increasing and you end up seeing so many teenagers under an identity crisis. This is the experimental phase that results in teenagers being rebellious and doing the exact opposite of what their parents tell them to do.

That is exactly what happened in the case of Reddit user u/No-Policy-6’s teenage daughter who once sneaked out to go to a college party with two of her friends. Upon reaching there they didn’t feel comfortable so she decided to call OP to come pick them up. Her worried mother quickly rushed to a spot she told them to get together at and arrived there in about 20 minutes. On the ride back home OP remained extremely quiet, just didn’t say a single word while her daughter kept apologizing.

Upon reaching home parents imposed some really harsh punishments on their daughter by taking her phone away and grounding her for 4 months in an attempt to change her behavior. Scroll down below to read the story!

3. One day she returned home from the movies before her curfew time and went straight to her room saying she had a migraine and wanted to rest.

4. Her father checked up on her about an hour later and saw that she was about to go to sleep.

5. OP and her husband went to sleep and at about 1 a.m. they received a message from their daughter containing emojis that the family had decided would mean the person sending is in trouble.

6. She had also given OP a call but she couldn’t receive it. While calling back OP walked into her room and her daughter was not in there.

7. Finally she contacted her daughter who said she had snuck out to go to a college party.

8. They felt unsafe at the party so OP asked her mother to pick them up. OP told them to go to a nearby spot and she picked them all up.

9. As OP opened the car’s door she started taking all fault on herself.

10. They could have gotten stuck in a terrible situation if you think about it.

11. OP didn’t speak a single word throughout the journey. She dropped OP’s friends off and continued on toward home.

12. OP kept apologizing to her mother throughout the ride but she didn’t react or say anything.

13. They finally reach home and OP along with her husband thank their daughter for doing exactly what they told her to do if she was in any sort of emergency.

14. Parents took their girl’s phone and sent her to her room. OP received a few messages from the parents of the other kids that OP picked up. One thanked her, while the other never wanted their daughter to meet OP’s daughter again.

15. Parents decide to impose some hard punishments on their daughter but were really anxious to know why their daughter had started behaving like this.

16. She even quit gymnastics, a sport she was really passionate about and wanted to pursue as a career.
