#1) OP is asking if he is wrong for changing the locks?
#2) OP rents out the bottom half of her property to a couple. Today when OP came back, one of her tenants was outside and couldn’t get in. The locks had been changed and the main suspect was his wife.
#3) OP called the man’s wife who said she would talk to OP later and to not let her husband in. OP went and got their locks changed.
#4) OP ordered copies of the keys and gave it to the husband. When OP called the wife, she freaked out and told OP that her husband had cheated and OP was helping him escape the consequences.
#5) OP told them that it’s not her place to be involved in their marriage but was verbally assaulted by the tenant. OP then asked her sister for advice but got the same response.

It’s important for us to recognize that there is room for all of us to succeed and that women can support each other without feeling like there will be a sacrifice. This situation with OP is very complex but most people can agree that it’s not OP’s fault because she simply didn’t know that her tenant was a cheater.
