Have you ever wondered what it would be like to have a stepfather who tries to sabotage your relationship with your biological father? Well, one Reddit user had to deal with this nightmare scenario for a long time, until she decided to take matters into her own hands and expose his lies. In a story on the r/entitledparents subreddit, OP shared her story of how she fooled her stepfather into admitting his wrongs against her and her siblings, and how her mom divorced him after he attacked her as she was walking to catch her school bus one day. The story is a roller coaster of emotions, from anger and frustration to relief and gratitude. It also involves a heroic neighbor who saved the user from the stepfather’s violence.

1. A family drama involving step relations…I am in.
2. OP was very young when her parents got divorced. Soon after, her mother married another guy who became her stepfather.
3. At the time of divorce, both parents decided they would interfere with the relations of the kids with the other parents.
4. The stepfather, though, decided to violate this rule and tried his absolute best to make sure the relationship between OP and her siblings , and their father got ruined.
5. He would even call OP’s father to demand more child support threatening him that he will legally adopt the children if he did so.
6. Surely this was the stepfather’s doing. Surely!
7. While everyone was in the lounge, OP grabbed the jackets and asked her mom why were they about to be returned.
8. The stepfather admitted he did it and a drama exploded on the moment from there on with things reaching to OP’s father, the threats, and everything.
9. The stepfather tried to calm things down by saying how he wanted to keep the whole family together but when he noticed OP laughing at his BS, he got hyper again.
10. Things got so heated that the stepfather was about to physically attack OP. The mom interrupted and ordered her husband to leave the scene.
11. When the stepdad drove off and went away, the mom approached her children and apologized to them from bringing her husband into their lives.
This is so sad. The mother is well aware what her husband is doing is terribly wrong. His way of parenting is not the way to go forward. I wish OP’s mom had made a good decision and left that guy because he was breaking the rule by interrupting the children’s relationship with their father.

12. The next morning as OP was walking to catch her school bus, she noticed her stepfather in his car who pulled up near her.
13. He then ot out and started walking towards OP. OP began screaming for help.
Oh my god, what is wrong with this guy? He could potentially r*pe OP from the way this part, we just read, has been written. My god.
14. As OP got grabbed by her stepfather who was dragging her to his car, an old couple sitting in their car noticed what was happening. To them, this looked like a kidnapping.
15. The old man got out of his car holding his gun right at the stepdad. He made the stepdad kneel on his knees with his hands on his head.
16. The old man’s wife was quick t call the police.
17. The police began an investigation as everything was explained to them by the old wife and her husband. They confirmed everything with OP.
18. When OP showed her ID to the police, her last name did not match her stepfather’s first name. So that sort of confirmed this was a kidnapping and the two parties were not related.
19. I think we all know what this means for the stepfather.
20. The stepfather was handcuffed and taken away. The other officer took OP to her school and got her admitted eventhough she was late.
21. When the school got over, the same officer arrived there to drop OP off at her home and waited there with her until her mom arrived home.
22. After getting to know about what had happened, the mom took divorce from the stepfather.
23. The mom managed to get a restraining order against the stepfather for herself and her children. The family never saw the face of that guy again.
