Have you ever encountered someone who felt entitled to your belongings and tried to take them away from you? If so, you might relate to this Reddit story that went viral on the internet. It is a tale of a cat-loving homeowner who had to deal with a rude and demanding family who wanted to buy their house and their cats. The family, who were nicknamed “Karen” and “Brat” by OP, did not take no for an answer and even attempted to snatch the cats by force. The cats, however, did not appreciate their unwanted attention and fought back, injuring the child. The family then threatened to sue the homeowner for the damage, but the homeowner stood their ground and refused to give up their furry friends.
The story was shared on the subreddit “Entitled Parents“. The community had to say a lot about the Karen and her Brat. Scroll down below to enjoy!

1. The Karen is back with another bang!
2. OP had decided to sell their house and so there was a showing set up with the real estate agent wanting them to allow more seeing time as per viewer’s demand.
3. The couple returned after a good amount of time to see a family in the driveway along with the agents.
4. The cat? I think this was a purchase deal for a house.
5. The buyer wanted to buy OP’s cats because her daughter loved them. She was willing to pay $500 for them.
6. The woman insisted but OP remained very clear that the cats were not for sale.
7. Their agent tried to create a whole story to convince OP.
8. While everyone was engaged in the conversation, the kid decided to run into the house to approach the cats.
9. When they went inside to see where the brat had gone, he was found crying after being scratched by the cats.
What even are these people? How entitled can one be to demand someone’s cat and even pay that much money for it? Sorry, miss. But the decision remains with OP. And that little brat, what did they expect would happen to try to mess with stranger cats? I think the kid expected the cats would hug her. If this was the case, well then the kid had no idea how cats operate and should never be allowed to go near one or adopt one unless she realizes how adoption works.

10. The mother left with her baby without any deal regarding the house or the cats, but a threat was certainly lodged on the way out which did not affect OP.

Here’s what the internet had to say about this:
11. And that is exactly what this entitled mother thought, the cat as a property, not a living being.

12. I know right. It was crazy that the agent even tried to convince OP.
Not their fault, money makes them say whatever it wants them to say.
13. The entitled woman’s husband probably already knew his say would not affect his wife or his brat daughter.

14. I won’t blame the realtor. It’s that buyer’s entitlement that needs fixing.
