Cheating on exams is not worth it.
Cheating on exams may appear to be a tempting shortcut to success, but the consequences can far outweigh the benefits. Cheating not only undermines the educational system’s integrity but also denies students the opportunity to truly learn and grow. In the end, the risks and guilt associated with cheating are simply not worthwhile. While cheating on tests has become a common practice among students who want to achieve academic success with little effort, the consequences can be serious.
I understand that students may believe cheating is the only option when they haven’t studied for whatever reason. However, most of the time, spoiled children cheat on exams while their parents empty their wallets to pay for their fees. While I recognise that the educational system is not perfect, cheating does not benefit anyone, and it is better to fail than to receive good grades when you did not even try. That is something that many students need to understand. And that is why some teachers punish them harshly. However, the original poster (OP) of this story chose a different approach to teaching their students.

It is not hard to find a teacher who is sick and tired of cheating students, and OP is no different.
This is an older story about when OP used to work as a substitute teacher at a place that wasn’t particularly well known.
It was a last-ditch effort from the parents to send their kids to this school, and thus the kids never even tried.
OP always tried their best to make sure the kids learned, but they were always uninterested.
OP obviously knew that most of the kids were going to cheat off the smart kids in class, so he hatched an ingenious plan.

What the OP did was mix up the questions a little bit, as they knew it would be enough to thwart their plans.
Let’s just say they weren’t expecting any of this and were left gobsmacked when they saw the test.
This is truly the ideal way to ensure that students never try cheating again. I mean, most tests I’ve taken have been designed to discourage cheating, so I’m not surprised that this teacher used the same method. I’d feel bad for the students, but they brought it on themselves. In retrospect, they avoided severe punishment if caught cheating.

Reading the books on the first night is such a good move, to be honest.
Okay, that is really funny.

Cheating isn’t easy either, so it is just easier to study in the first place.
I would love to have a teacher like this.
I bet the kids would be so confused.
Cheating used to be very common when I was in school.
I wouldn’t be surprised if OP had to deal with a few parents.

Wouldn’t it be apples since we are talking about teachers?
This is why you make sure you are cheating on the right test.
That is a very smart way to handle it.
They just turned out to be very dumb.
Do chemistry teachers talk about moles?
