It’s no surprise that certain bosses feel they are entitled to your soul simply because they’re paying you for your labor. They thought they were wealthy landowners because they got stuck in time between now and the 15th century.
Regrettably, there are more parallels between modern Europe and medieval Europe than any of us would like to accept. Hey, at least the Droit du seigneur is history now. But there are definitely some parallels between that and the lack of legal repercussions for the wealthy and powerful well as.
This week on the r/antiwork subreddit, this famous thread that was shared by w.e went viral. It discusses his experience defending himself against one of the aforementioned employers. His meeting with the Human resources department of u/InfiniteMaf to discuss his weekend activities was called in with an astonishing degree of forwardness. When it became apparent where things were going, u/InfiniteMaf made the choice to no longer work for that organization.

OP did what was totally right. If you consider yourself in OP’s position then you would get to know that often horrible bosses try to scare you and exploit you, and this is exactly what was happening here. Luckily, OP dodged the situation pretty well and he broke the shackle that was connected to his feet while working at that particular organization.
